Design Wall Monday 4th January 2010

Judy Laquidara of Patchwork Times has a design wall weekly feature that I really wanted to join last year, but did not get around to it. Or should I say Hubby did not get around to fixing one up for me!

This picture shows the design wall fabric I was given about 6 years ago, and so far all that has happened it is out of the packet! 2010 will see it up on the wall.

Hey, it is a start! I finally put up a design wall last year and I really like it and wonder why I didn't do it sooner. You will enjoy having one - easier to take pictures of projects.

I hear ya! We're working on the basement, so I don't have a design wall yet, but I just take pictures of the blocks on the cutting table, or a couch or a chair...whatever's handy, he he he.

Good luck getting your wall up Diana. Makes a HUGE difference for me. I'm spoiled, I have a room dedicated to my obsession, and three different design walls mounted. It's hard for me to go to retreats and not have a design wall to work from. Will look forward to seeing what you do!

Before my son moved out (and I took over his room!) I'd thumbtack my design wall flannel to a wall in the diningroom, then I got a china cupboard and there went the wall. I know, what was I thinking getting a china cupboard! You will love having one -hope you get it soon.

I had the same problem, not for years though, just a few months... I was waiting to use my design wall so, one day, I asked for a few of HIS nails and HIS big hammer... out came the wooden baton the drill the leveling thing... hey ho.... it's up and I use it all the time! Good luck with getting yours up.

Diana's funeral has now been arranged with Hollowells Funeral Directors. If anyone on this blog is interested in attending please go t...
