My Mum

 Sadly my Mum passed away peacefully on Wednesday 18th January, after a very short illness. Mum was 97 years old and enjoyed a full life, she is sadly missed by both family and friends.

At our Christmas meeting of IAM we were all given a FQ, and the aim is to make something with them, so I used mine [the blue FQ] to make the pinwheel cushion front. I still need to complete the back.

Embroidery machined








This Wall hanging consists of 94 quilt blocks made on the embroidery machine [ Brother 4000D]. The design is by Anita Goodesign.
Only the backing and label are now needed to complete the quilt.

WELCOME 2012

I'd like to thank everyone for good wishes while I have been so ill over Christmas and the New Year. My blog like everything else has not been touched.. BUT.. I am feeling better now and look forward to a year of quilting and seeing friends again.
