Granddaughters post

We're here to stay at grandma's and granddad's for 3 days. This is our first blog post.
Abigail at her sewing machine

Eleanor machining her skirt

Crazy hats for the BBQ!

Granddad cooking the cheese burgers

Our finished skirts and Eleanor's t-shirt

Picking the juicy raspberries for the raspberry jelly
We made our skirts by sewing together long strips of fabric together with normal stitch and zig zag stitch. Grandma was very happy with using up some of her fabric stash.
The BBQ was very yummy and well cooked.
Blogged by Abigail, 11 and Eleanor 7.

Beautiful skirts. Tess's new love is crochet, so we have a glut of tea cosies, but it's not so good for skirts.

Well, you girls certainly are having a great time at Grandma's. Love the skirts, they will be lovely for your trip to Spain. Silly hat BBQ again I see but you both look a bit glum on that photo waiting for burgers, was grandad being a bit slow !!! Then freshly picked raspberries for pudding, Yummee x. 😄😄🍔✈️☀️

Well done, Abigail and Eleanor! Wished you could help me with my blogs. And I love your skirts. I have two grandsons so no skirt sewing for us. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Virginia, USA.

Hi Abigail and Eleanor,
You both look very lovely in your new skirts that you have made, and also very clever to be able to use Grandma's machine, well
done. Looking forward to seeing whatever else you make.
Love, Maureen x
