In 2009 I purchased a set of bird patterns and fabric monthly [ BOM]. They have sat in my workroom going nowhere, so last week I decided it was time to make them. This is the first one I have attempted. It has so many really tiny pieces, but I love it.. now to complete the other eleven plus the four woodland scenes through the seasons.
The pattern and kits were bought from Silverlinings.

You did such a perfect job in the piecing :)
Marta
Very pretty!!I like!
Wow is all I can say! Looking forward to see the rest. I am staying tuned.
That is incredible! Is it paper pieced? Do you know where I can get the pattern? Awesome!
I just saw the note that says you got it at silverlinings. I should read before I type!
This bird project is going to be lovely! I just love paper-piecing. It's tedious but once you get into the rhythm, it speeds right along. And the results are wonderful! Can't wait to see your other bird blocks as you complete them.
Beautiful! I love Silverlinings patterns. I just got the jaguar pattern and I'm in the process of picking out my fabrics.
I have that same set of BOM and seeing yours makes me want to check back to see what I have done. I know that i did the chickadee, but can't remember if I did any others. The woodland scenes scared me.
so cute, nice job looks great
Beautifully done. A gorgeous block, love the colors, they really pop!
