Progress is being made on our bedroom. The carpet fitter arrived at 7.45am this morning and I am really pleased with the new carpet. We had already hung the new curtains, which have little birds on them, I just fell in love with them and they were the first thing we bought. To complement the curtains I choose a simple ‘bark’ wallpaper that has been painted a sort of magnolia colour.
Also today the Window man replaced a broken pane in the double glazing in my Happy Room. It was a real mystery as the inside pane of a double glazed pane shattered while we were away and no one was in the house. Even Ryan the window guy could not understand it. It has slightly damaged the blind but that can be repaired at some point. There was glass everywhere. Spooky!
Tomorrow Ikea will deliver the many boxes containing the wardrobes and dressing table units... so Chris will be busy with his screwdriver.
