Looks like I am having a jumble sale!!
had to be moved for a new electrical system through the wall into the adjoining en-suite.
At the same time Chris said he would put up my long awaited design wall. First to clear a space, then a baton was attached to the wall about 54 x 54 inches square. Wadding was then fixed to the baton and finally a sheet of fabric covered the whole thing.
Now I just need to sort out the "jumble sale" ! and only put back in storage boxes things I will use one day, the rest can go to the next guild sales table, EBay or a Charity shop.

How wonderful! A new design wall and passing on the things that you no longer need!
I am in the process of moving my quilting out of the dining room and into the guest room. I find it to be quite painful. Sorting through everything is hard, it always is worse before it gets better!! It is worth it in the end and I know you will be ready to sew.
Congrats on new design wall. I'm sure it was a lot of work but vwell worth it.
enjoy the new wall-they're so helpful.
I thought maybe you were packing up to go on retreat! But getting a new design wall is exciting too!
Diana, your sewing room looks just like mine...only I have two rooms in that state as I am moving my sewing room into an upstairs bedroom where I can have a longarm and all my sewing stuff together, but have to also move all the bedroom funiture and bedding stuff to a downstairs room...... so guess what my hallway looks like????
I am now wondering where I can put my design wall, it's a bit awkward at the moment as it's still downstairs!!!
Best Wishes

Doesn't it feel good to have a good clean?! The design wall and whole area looks great!
The design wall looks great...and LOOK! there are already blocks up there! They look right at home!
Your design wall will be so useful!
I've been doing a bit of cleaning up myself. I don't have the stamina for a yard sale or Ebay so off as a donation it will all go...
Nice space! I'd like to be there for your jumble sale - but it kinda far from Riverside, CA. Those blocks look right at home already. And I loved seeing all your wonderful quilts on the side bar. A good idea!
It's tough to see all that you have forgotten once you start moving things around. I just did that and discovered I have way too many unfinished projects, so UFO busting is in my future as I do not belong to a guild. So nice to have a design wall--mine is not yet up again.
Hi Diana! After seeing all these wonderful design walls, It makes me want to purchase one myself!! I think I just might.
A true design wall Monday! Looks great. Glad you're getting to freshen up your jumble!
