The morning started with a special service at Church where we had a live link to Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland, plus all around England. The two hour service, broadcast from Scotland, flew by. The speakers were so interesting and thought provoking.
The afternoon was spent celebrating our friend Brian's 74th birthday.
The sun shone and we joined some of the neighbours in Brian's pride and joy garden for a fabulous BBQ. It really was a lovely day and the food kept coming and coming until we could eat no more!
There was lots of chat and those not under some shade soon felt the need for sun cream.
