The new coffee table we bought recently needs a cover so having sorted through all my machine embroidery designs I have made a start. I matched the threads to the new colours of wool I have chosen for my next crochet project. Come back later to see the finished item.

Instead of using the usual tear-away as a backing, which drives me mad removing it,

Wash away stabilizer is wonderful! I use it when I make towels and pillowcases for my grandchildren. I tell them that Geema has a special way to tell if they used their gift.
Oh, I didn't know there was such a thing as wash away! Pretty embroidery.
