Haddenham Village Fete

The day started gloomy and overcast but we set off to attend the village fete at Haddenham, stopping for a very nice lunch at Brewers Fayre in Bicester. As the day wore on the sun came out and by the time we arrived at the Fete it was a beautiful day and very hot.
Olivia, whom I had helped to start on the road to a sewing career, had arranged a wonderful display in the church with dresses from 1880 to 1980 complete with many interesting items from each era.

Her brother Jerome had arranged a vintage car and tractor display. There were also a number of wonderful open gardens plus of course all the fun of the fete.

A really nice afternoon, even though the ice cream queue was always so long we never did get one!
