We started the year with almost 6 weeks in Spain, that seems a life time ago as when we returned the country went into lockdown and Covid 19 shook the world.
My first start and finish in 2020 was Mrs Duck made in Spain.
Plus I attended a glass fusing workshop while on holiday.Then came the lockdown and the thoughts of a few weeks of just sewing seemed great, until it went on and on and is still going on....
However I searched the internet and found some inspiration from quilters offering ‘Mystery Quilts’ ‘Quilt Alongs’ etc etc..
I am particularly grateful to Pat Sloan and her daily YouTube messages plus Bonnie Hunter’s blog posts, both so full of inspiration.
Quilts I made this year:
Moda Blockheads in purples and greenLabyrinth in yellow and greens, both colours out of my comfort zone but work so well together.

Jason ABC quilt for my neighbours first grandchild
Bringing Home the Christmas Tree a Christmas gift for my son and daughter in law.
I also completed two quilts that had been UFO’s for far too long
USA States I have visited and my black, white and a dash of red.
Three Christmas cushions were made for gifts.
Three pairs of socks and a fourth started kept my knitting needles busy.
A black bag made from Charity Shop jeans, that has been in use all year.

And probably a number of things I have forgotten.
It has been a great time to have a Happy Room and food delivery to the doorstep most of the year.
On my next blog I will make myself a note of things I have started that will be completed in 2021.

It has been a hard year but like you have my crafts. Must admit the year has gone quickly, lets hope once we get the jab 2021 will improve & we can get back to our Holidays
