Cross Stitch floss day

When i used to teach lacemaking in the USA every summer I would always bring back DMC threads, often 5 or 8 for a dollar if I found them on sale.
I have boxes and boxes of them..

I managed to spend most of my day working on my LOVE heart and realised I might run out of the colour I had chosen for it. 

Wow the cost of just one skein of DMC makes me so glad of my stash.
I am trying to eke out the DMC 347 to complete my heart.

I have had 9 DMC skeins sent as they were Nos I did not have, took nearly 2 weeks to be delivered, now I can start on an embroidery of a Beach scene. The X stitch looks nice & the red stands out
