Fotheringhay CL for 5 days

We arrived at Fotheringhay Caravan site Monday lunch time in the baking heat. After setting up the van and awning, with the help of the new Motor Mover we cooled down with a cold drink. We choose a nice corner spot with some shade as I am still suffering badly with heat rash.

Quickly set up with the Nene River just beyond the hedge, only one other couple on the site.
During the afternoon, two other caravans arrived, but it is a large field and there is plenty of space.
In the evening a group of four tents set up, much to the dismay of the site owner, they were only staying one night and left early the next morning.

Fotheringhay is a fascinating place for history buffs.
We will explore more tomorrow.

A short evening stroll.

Goodnight..
